Some Friends Of Ours
|

|
This section is dedicated to our friends. Not only the ones we currently are fortunate enough to have, but also to new friends we meet along the way............Especially in the ELVIS WORLD! If you would like to hang out with us, send us a picture and an e-mail telling us about yourselves (or your fan club) and we will include you in this section. |

Talk about a couple of lucky stiffs! Just received this e-mail from our friend David Lewis whom we met through our VERY good friend Denny Seithel. (the lucky stiff on the far right) Wish we were there! |

Just
wanted to take a second to forward you a picture I'm quite proud of, and
to also plug the new Elvis album hitting stores on September 24. The album
is a collection of all of Elvis' worldwide #1 hits from his entire career.
The tracks have been adjusted and mixed so that the sound quality is much
much better than the original cuts, even though nothing was added or taken
away. In August, I was one of twelve Elvis fans that got a chance to hear
the majority of these new cuts at a listening session at the House of
Blues, which is a recording studio in Memphis. The stuff sounds great
- almost like new music. We couldn't believe what we heard. Even if you
aren't an Elvis fan, this CD would be one to add to your collection. It
will have a total of 31 tracks, and is listed on Amazon right now for
$14.99. So, ya can't go wrong can ya? Didn't think so. Everyone go buy
it! |
|
Attached is a picture taken after the listening session...Left to right: David Bendeth, A&R Executive at RCA NY who spearheaded the six-month re-mastering sessions, David Lewis, James Burton, Elvis' lead guitarist from 1969-1977, and Denny Seithel, President of Elvis - The Sun Never Sets on a Legend Fan Club of St. Louis, MO. Enjoy!
